Rajvansh, a widower and a scientist, rescues a woman named Anjili from goons while coming home after visiting his late wife’s grave. Rajvansh falls in love with Anjili and marries her, unaware that she is in love with her friend Anand, and this is only a ploy to extort money from him. Soon, their marriage becomes contractual in nature, with Rajvansh catering to every demand made by Anjili’s greedy uncle.

One day, Rajvansh rescues a woman, Meena, from drowning and brings her home. Jealous, Anjili constantly humiliates Meena and taunts Rajvansh for his feelings towards her. Frustrated with Anjili’s behaviour, Rajvansh drowns himself in work.

While working in his laboratory, Rajvansh accidentally poisons himself with a chemical and falls gravely ill. In the meantime, Anjili meets Anand, confesses that she still loves him and asks him to stay on in the guise of a doctor. When Rajvansh discovers Anjili and Anand meeting clandestinely, he rushes to kill them in a rage. Meena stops him and tells him to care about his health. When Anjili begins to find living with Rajvansh difficult, her uncle suggests that she should convince Anand to kill Rajvansh and bury him in the graveyard.

At his suggestion, Anand and Anjili murder Rajvansh through deception. They make a mistake, however: they leave the locker keys with Rajvansh in his fresh grave. They rush to dig the grave up only to find nothing. During a fight between Anand and Anjili’s uncle, the same locker keys appear out of nowhere. When they open the locker, Anand finds his hands soaked in blood. Things take a terrifying turn when Rajvansh returns as a zombie to seek vengeance.
